I had a beautiful photography session with Winter, Ara, and their brother Cal a few months ago, in late Autumn. As we were wandering around the little reserve we were at, the two girls were blowing dandelions. As soon as I’d taken these, I knew that I had a gorgeous little series of images of the two girls playing together.

I entered these 4 images into the South Australian Professional Photography Awards, and they were awarded a Silver Award (and I was a Finalist in the Family Category, with the portfolio they were entered in!). I have shared the images as they were presented for judging on my Facebook page, but I wanted to show them on my blog as bigger images, because each of them is gorgeous and makes me smile. I love them!

I swear to you, these two kiddos are basically sunshine walking around on legs. I adore photographing them, and this particular photography session was no exception…I can’t wait for the next time, though I’m pretty sure I need to up my “lame joke” game before then!!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these little beauties last week, at the stunning grounds of Jacob’s Creek Retreat (north of Adelaide). I have to say that there is something so special about being able to photograph a family as they grow and change. To be asked to do it again and again is an absolute privilege, and it was so lovely to spend time with these two, and their Mum and Dad.
